The U.S. Safety Net
Description: Social policy, and the U.S. safety net, in particular is a highly political issue. These materials will define the social safety net and highlight a set of policies that are central to the providing the safety net. They will also provide data on use and participation as well as the effects of the safety-net, including both theory and evidence. Fiscal issues will be explored and new policy options will be presented.
